The Coulson Group enjoyed a successful night at the Cambridge Design and Construction Awards (CDCA) run by the Cambridge Forum for the Construction Industry (CFCI) and held at the wonderful St Catherine’s College.
Firstly congratulations go to our Ian Keys who was selected as Site Manager of the year for his work at Holy Trinity Church - here is what the judges said about Ian …
"He has a calm manner and positive, problem solving attitude and quietly but expertly took care of the Holy Trinity Transform project, managing his own team and his subcontractors as well as steering a careful and considered path with all the Consultants and the client team. He quickly developed a rapport and good working relationships with the whole team."
Ian would be the first to acknowledge that this is a nod to all of our Holy Trinity project team and that performance was further recognised when we collected the Cambridge City Council's Considerate Contractor award supported by the Chamber of Commerce. - Again this is what the judges said…
"This was a very difficult project not just in the centre of Cambridge but in the centre of the centre of Cambridge"
When one considers the other landmark projects happening in and around the City such as the North West Development, Station Road, Cambridge Assessment, Judges Institute amongst others it is a demonstration of the Groups commitment and success in achieving excellence.
